Dr. Fernando Cabanillas
El doctor Fernando Cabanillas Escalona, es un internacionalmente reconocido y galardonado Oncólogo Hematólogo, graduado de la Escuela de Medicina de La Universidad de Puerto Rico, donde comenzó su especialización en Hematología Oncológica y la cual terminó en Huston, el el prestigioso MD Anderson Cancer Center, donde por años lideró la sección de Linfomas. Desde allí ha liderado innumerables estudios e investigaciones sobre linfomas que lo han llevado a recibir innumerables premios y reconocimientos. Actualmente, el doctor Cabanillas es director y fundador del Centro de Cáncer del Hospital Auxilio Mutuo, es profesor de la escuela de medicina de la UPR y se mantiene trabajando continuamente para hallar aquella fórmula que le permita curar pacientes que padecen de linfoma no Hodgkin.
